Teacher? I have a question...

Welcome to Ask Teacher Janet! This site was created for Teacher Janet (as a special surprise and thank you) by me, a mom in Hood River, Oregon.

My 4 year old has been coming to Teacher Janet's Our Children’s Place for fun and learning ever since he was six months old. His father and I  have been coming to Teacher Janet for support and advice for just as long.

Teacher Janet can field ANY (I mean, any) question you could throw at her about parenting healthy, happy, beloved kids.  She gives the best hugs in town and the best advice in the world.  I’m not kidding.  The woman is a kid-whisperer.

I am not the first person to recognize this woman’s special gift and been inspired to welcome her to share it with a larger audience.  Teacher Janet appears regularly on Portland, Oregon ABC affiliate KATU Channel 2′s AM Northwest show as their parenting expert.
